Malvar Senior High School conducts its first face-to-face earthquake drill after the pandemic, June 9.
At exactly 9:00 in the morning, teaching personnel and students led by Mr. Dennis M. Castillo, the school's DRRM Coordinator, performed the "duck-cover-hold" routine in their respective classrooms and offices as they heard the loud ringing of the bell.
This was done to participate in the 2nd Quarter Online Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) which was conducted simultaneously through Facebook Live by Civil Defense PH and National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC). This activity aimed to raise alertness and awareness among students and faculty members in responding to an earthquake.
