Malvar Senior High School welcomed the institution's new General Parent-Teachers Association (GPTA officials), Nov. 19.
Dr. Jhomar C. Sor, school principal, spearheaded the oath ceremony of the ten newly elected GPTA officials.
Mr. Dennis Castillo, BOD member, gave a short message to the new members, “Bagaman kakaiba po ang sitwasyon natin ngayon, sa pamamagitan ng pagtutulungan ng paaralan at ng GPTA, mayroon tayong magagawa at maisasakatuparan.”
These were validated by the body's manifestation of positive response. Ms. Annaliza Garing, the newly-elected President, delivered her inaugural address to the members, emphasizing the importance of teamwork and friendship in the group's success.

The GPTA' first meeting was held shortly after the oath-taking ceremony.
