To commemorate the 121st anniversary of Philippine Independence and in observance of the National Flag day, the faculty and staff of Senior High School in Malvar participated in the simultaneous nationwide flag raising ceremony.
Headed by the principal Dr. Jhomar C. Sor, the program started at exactly 7:00 AM. He emphasized the essence of the celebration, that it is one way of showing our nationalism and patriotism.
The flag raising ceremony was led by the following faculty of Senior High School in Malvar: morning prayer led by Mr. Dennis Castillo, PE Teacher, followed by the singing of National Anthem conducted by Ms. Connie Villafranca, Social Science Teacher. Mr. Jay Wilson Aala led the recital of the pledge of allegiance, followed by the singing of Malvar Hymn.
