Another gratifying moment for Senior high school in Malvar. In the recently concluded Gawad Balisong Year 5, the school was hailed as one of the finalist in the Best Performing Secondary School category. The school, alongside with the most highly established secondary schools in the Division of Batangas Province was recognized in the awarding ceremony held at Lima Park Pavillion, Lima Technology Center, Malvar, Batangas. The said award was handed to the school principal Dr. Jhomar C. Sor together with the designated School Project Coordinator, Mr. Perry P. Taborda.
“It is indeed an honor to be adjudged alongside with well establish schools existing for decades in the province, imagine we are with Bauan Technical High School and Dacanlao G. Agoncillo National High School, both schools are national awardees in different fields”, Taborda said.
The ceremony is a yearly gathering of well performing educators and public basic educational institutions known for their effective programs and projects to ensure the delivery of quality services to the learners.
Aside from the said citation, Mrs Rachell M. Alilio, the Administrative Officer II of Senior High School in Malvar was also hailed finalist for the Most Outstanding Non-teaching Staff Level 2 category.
